Preparing to move but don’t know where to start? Here at Bailey’s we’ll help you start the moving process by providing you with everything you need for a successful move.

We’ll provide you with a free, no obligation quote and will help you decide which pricing option suits your move and your budget.
Move Coordinator
You’ll be appointed an expert move coordinator that will walk you through everything. From the process of packing all the way to unloading, your move coordinator will make sure no questions go unanswered. They’ll also help you decide on which services you’ll need.
Items to move
We’ll take a survey of everything that needs to be relocated, and make sure that any items requiring special attention (a grandfather clock, for example) will be taken care of before your moving day.
Moving Checklist
You’ll also receive a moving checklist to simplify the moving process as well as literature surrounding any procedures or precautions you should be aware of.
Moving Schedule
Finally, we’ll set up a moving timeline and delivery schedule based on your preferred time frame.
Protecting your home
We take special precautions to make sure that your belongings are moved with the utmost care. This means protecting your home by putting down floor runners, placing padding on banisters and corners, wrapping furniture in cloth pads or blankets, and more. Even the inside of our moving vehicles are designed to keep items from shifting during moving to prevent damage during transport.
Extra Care Protection (ECP)
As with any lifestyle change, though, there may be bumps in the road. That’s why we make sure that you have a back-up plan to make sure all of your belongings are covered with our Extra Care Protection Plan (ECP). Talk with your Move Coordinator to help you decide what level of moving coverage is right for you and your belongings.
Moving day
A successful moving day is like an orchestra, it’s only when all of the pieces come together that harmony can be achieved. To create a successful move, Bailey’s brings together the following major pieces:
Team of expert movers
A vehicle foreman will oversee the process of packing, loading up the moving van, driving to your new destination and delivering your belongings. He’ll oversee a team of specially trained movers that will pack your possessions and prepare them for loading onto the moving van. All crew members are uniformed and comply with a high level of standards including a drug test and a background check. Also, there is no smoking allowed within proximity of your moving items.
Loading up
After all of your belongings are packed and ready to be moved, they’ll be transported into the moving van. These vehicles, in addition to being quite spacious, are specially designed and equipped to accommodate the safe transportation of household goods. Specifically, trailer walls and doors are lined with logistical tracks, enabling shipments to be secured further with heavy nylon straps.
Final walk through
Finally, after everything has been loaded in the vehicle, your vehicle foreman will take one last walk through to make sure that nothing has been overlooked.
Delivery
Once everything is loaded up onto the truck, the vehicle foreman will deliver your belongings to your new destination – following the delivery schedule.
Once the truck arrives, destination services are available:
- Appliance hook up
- Un-crating and un-packing
- Inventory check to make sure everything was delivered
After delivery has been completed, we’ll make a final check to make sure expectations have been met and you can fill out a quality control survey to rate your moving experience with Bailey’s Moving and Storage.
