I called around for quotes long before I had planned to move with the idea that I could then budget for my move. Bailey’s is the only company that even called me back. The entire moving experience was great from the clear communication to the care put into loading/unloading my stuff.
We moved from Denver, CO to Created Butte, CO in the middle of winter. On the day of the mice a snowstorm landed in Colorado. Bailey’s was on time with a smile throughout the moving process. The gentlemen who handled the physical move were fantastic!
Baileys made our move from Denver CO to Tampa FL extremely stress free. They were organized in all aspects of the move, very professional in both sides of the move, and fair priced. I would recommend Baileys to anyone preparing for a move in the future. Organized and extremely professional in managing our move.
The moving crew was warm professional FAST and so so careful with our things—not ONE thing was broken scratched or any damage at all! We have moved professionally 6 times over the years and Bailey’s was by far the best! And the best pricing too! I can’t recommend them enough! I would use them again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you Bailey’s! First, the quote was honest and easy to understand NO hidden costs—also Corey was more than helpful explaining and looking at other quotes from other movers and explained them…way beyond normal! Thank you Corey!
Tavita Manu and his crew are the best! We had to move a large energy research institute, including some unique equipment, and Tavita and his team knocked it out of the park. They were careful, efficient and flexible on our requests and did a fantastic job on our move. I’ve worked with a lot of movers over my career and Tavita and his team are the best I’ve worked with, and I would definitely hire them again. Rob Simmons
Freddy and Luis were great. Very accommodating and helpful. We would gladly use them again.
If this company loses or breaks something, they will do everything possible to avoid covering the cost. When we first contacted them, we spoke with Lincoln, who was great at the beginning and gave us a competitive quote. After that, we never heard from him again. Communication throughout the entire moving process was terrible. Our driver, Armando, was the only person who handled things professionally. We were moving with young children and without any family support, so communication on our end wasn’t always perfect. We did the walk-through, but a few items were left behind — some that were tagged, and a few items were taken that we didn’t even want. We let most of that go, but our ladder and lawnmower were also left behind, which was a much bigger issue. We immediately notified them and filed a report, especially because I had emailed them before the truck left letting them know those items were still there and needed to be picked up. Due to their poor communication, the items were missed — yet they still refused to cover it. Their reasoning was that my wife had done the walk-through and the items were not listed, even though we had pointed them out and followed up in writing. Once we started speaking with Judy, it became very clear that they had no intention of reimbursing us. The runaround was constant, and the entire process felt incredibly shady. They advertise coverage for lost or damaged items, but when something actually happens, they do not stand behind their own claims. We are extremely disappointed with this company and would not recommend them to anyone. If an issue comes up, they will not help you, support you, or take responsibility for their mistakes.
The young men who came to lead the truck - Jack and Josh were both very professional and very kind and careful.
Bailey’s is an amazing moving company. I was put in contact with Cindi, and she was amazing. She called me a few months before our move and got all the details. She called frequently with updates that were very helpful. She also was available for questions and help. She is a great point of contact! When our time to move had come, Sara & Alex Osegueru came to pack everything before the move the next day. They were very efficient and worked really hard. The next day, Anthony and his crew came to load our stuff into the truck. They were also great, and finished the move really quickly. Everyone we interacted with was really nice and helpful. Communication was such a big piece of this big puzzle. Everyone communicated so well and we felt like we were in good hands!
Both the load team and the unload team did a great job. The unload team in Nampa, ID seemed to care more about the property by putting down runners and padding doorways, etc. unlike the load team. We did have some small damage to our office desk (chip out of the wood and a dowel broken off of a dresser). The load team was Jack T. (Montrose, CO) The unload team was Vincent. Very professional. (Nampa, ID) The vehicle transport person was very good as well. Just didn't speak good English. We paid $10,000+
Vincent, our driver did a great job with our move. Ryan, was patient & worked with us through the process from start to truck loading. Unfortunately, the auto transport didn’t go as smoothly.
Moving is stressful whether short or long distance. However, my recent Aurora to neighboring town move was made seamless by the team at Bailey’s. At each contact they were reassuring, professional and accurate. From affordable quote to execution of move they were spot on. There were no surprises. I greatly appreciated that and the care they took to ensure all arrived safe and sound. If you are looking to move and want a straight forward and secure experience, call Bailey’s. They were great. Norm was spot on from walk through to quote to charge. There were no surprises. Everything was explained along the way and questions answered. Not his first rodeo-Norm was great.
Choosing Bailey's to move me from Colorado to Canada was the biggest mistake I made in this move. I was upfront about looking for a company who (1) communicates well, (2) provides packing, (3) won't break my stuff, (4) will be on schedule, (5) knows everyone who will unpack the truck on the other side, and (6) gets through customs smoothly. I chose Bailey's on the strength of Josh's promise that he "knew he could do the best job for me." They were not the cheapest bid I received, but I felt the best about Josh, who said he would be my contact throughout the move. The first red flag was when Barb called me two evenings before my move to tell me they would be there the following morning. Barb had done all the work to schedule movers, but had not actually told ME that she was changing the date. The movers ended up packing a lot of stuff I had been intending to give away or trash, at my expense. The next red flag was overhearing the movers say, "Josh is such a liar." They were right - he is a great salesman; I can't say he followed through for me. For one, he was not my main contact. He kept referring me to Barb, until I had to ask who was running my move. Apparently, it was Barb, not Josh. Several times in writing, I told Josh that I wanted delivery on July 12. He wrote it up for August 12. When he realized the mistake, Barb and Josh avoided telling me about it for almost a week while they tried to fix it, and when I got a call from him (after I wrote him a text telling him the silence was making me very nervous), he was defensive and blamed me. After this, trying to get anything from Barb and Josh was like pulling teeth. I can't count the number of times I wrote to Barb "still waiting for a response to this" in the two months before delivery. I was not told when my truck left Colorado; I had to ask as my delivery date approached. When I had a problem with customs, Barb refused to help me. Finally, I asked to be connected to someone who had more experience, and they helped me. Barb just made me fear that I couldn't get delivery at all. Upon delivery, the moving team repeatedly apologized to me for how badly everything was packed. It looked like everything had just been thrown in the truck. Boxes were packed haphazardly: a fishing tackle box from my garage was packed ON TOP OF my husband's dress shirts, which had been in the bedroom closet; one of my books was folded in half to force it to fit in a box of other items from my office; etc. There was more than $8,000 of damage that I was able to document. I tried to reach Josh about it on moving day, but he refused to respond to me. It was Josh/Barb's job to make sure a piano mover was scheduled on both ends. When moving out, the moving team asked me about the piano moving company Josh had hired, and I told them I hadn't heard anything. I didn't learn until my piano arrived in Canada that the regular movers had "packed" it, causing $4,000 of damage. When the delivery driver tried to contact Josh/Barb about piano movers, they refused to answer, so my piano arrived 9 days later. I submitted a complaint in August, after getting most of my items delivered. I received an automated response saying Allied would get back to me in one business day. I got a response 4 weeks later, only after reaching out to a different customer service rep, who pinged Jacquelene, who was supposed to have answered me but didn't. While I did get payment for some of my damages, customer service pretty much shrugged and said there was nothing else they could do. I want to emphasize that I have been nothing but polite, patient, and calm through this experience. I have never raised my voice or made personal attacks. Multiple people with Allied, including the delivery driver, a customer service rep, and two people who unloaded my truck have expressed amazement at my poise and kindness in the face of the delay and damage. My experience with Bailey's has been miserable in every way. Hire someone else.
My experience with Bailey’s Moving & Storage was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about their ethics, professionalism, and overall care for customers’ belongings. If you’re considering them for an out-of-state move, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. During the move-out, members of their staff scratched the floors of the home we had just sold. When questioned, they denied responsibility and claimed the damage was already there, which was not true. The staff member responsible for tagging items also added extra numbers to inflate the inventory count, clearly attempting to prevent us from receiving a volume-based discount. This behavior felt intentional and dishonest. Their truck-handling skills were poor, leading to broken totes, crushed boxes, and a general lack of care. Amid the chaos, a gun bag went missing, which is completely unacceptable—thankfully it was empty, but it should never have disappeared in the first place. Delivery wasn’t any better. The crew arrived unprepared, needing a ladder to unload yet not bringing one, something any professional mover should anticipate. The foreman on the unload was rude and dismissive, adding unnecessary stress. Even worse, when they finished, the foreman took my personal ladder and loaded it into his truck, fully aware it wasn’t his. It took several days and numerous phone calls to get it back, and they only returned it after we informed them we would be filing a police report for theft. To top it off, coordinating the delivery was a nightmare. When our real estate closing was delayed by just one day, the local team was unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate, making an already difficult situation even worse. Overall, Bailey’s Moving & Storage showed poor ethics, dishonesty, lack of preparation, and little respect for customers or their property. This is absolutely not the kind of company you want handling your belongings—especially for a long-distance move. I cannot recommend them under any circumstances.
I was moving from Denver to Florida with my girlfriend, getting married there. I had to catch my flight at 3pm. Martin and Josh had a slowdown on their morning move so they showed up at 11:30am. They were very fast though, had everything ready in 2 hours. Am recommending Bailey’s to all my friends in Denver!
I had a move my family's furniture from Denver to NJ. Crew from Bailey’s was on time, polite and fast with protecting furniture and running it down our building on their truck. Very happy with the service. Shout out to Martin and his coworker!
Martin and Josh did a fantastic job and made everything really easy. 100% would recommend this company and these movers.
I've recently been moving from Grand Junction to Albuquerque. We used Bailey's for our move from Lakewood, CO to Grand Junction about four years ago. Chris and Isaiah drove my stuff to my new place in Abq. They made quick work of it and all the while it was raining off and on. I would recommend their services to anyone.
We received two deliveries from Bailey and a 3rd crew came to pick up the boxes after unpacking - all 3 experiences were very professional - teams were on time, courteous and easy to work with. They all took care to not damage property and not leave anything behind. Communication was great and deliveries were at the promised time. Deb Cisneros was our contact for coordination and she was excellent - answered all inquiries quickly and provided great customer service!
Had my uncle’s art delivered from California, Martin and Josh were quick, careful and efficient. Will use next time
I used Bailey's to move from Denver to Texas. The crew that loaded the truck in Denver was fantastic, as was the truck driver, Benjamin. However, the crew that unloaded in Texas sucked. I was standing in the driveway directing them where to take things and they just tossed things in random rooms. They stacked heavy boxes and totes on top of items marked fragile and I lost count of how many things were broken. And one of them left a "gift" in my toilet. Disgusting.
Jack, Joshua and Josiah were all fantastic. They were careful, fast and incredibly respectful. I would highly recommend Bailey’s and these gentleman in particular!
