Salt Lake City Reviews for Bailey's Moving & Storage

The driver was too busy deer hunting to come out the day before for pre-inspection , rolling rugs, inventory, etc. The next day he did show up but short handed. I have moved many times in my lifetime and have never had our things treated with such disregard nor been treated so rudely. Insurance claim followed - this too was insulting. Their settlement will not begin to cover the damages. NO WAY WOULD I RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

I purchased an appliance through Home Depot and Bailey's was contracted to deliver the washing machine. The delivery person was rude, dismissive, and did not complete the job as arranged until I told him I would not sign a the paperwork until it was fixed. I also had to call Home Depot and get an expediter involved to call his office to tell him to complete the job. After completing the job, the delivery person was walking away from me as I was asking them questions. I was told by Home Depot that they have stopped contracting with Bailey's and I now understand why.

Thtere are good at moving

Movers were on time, worked hard, took great care of our possessions, were polite and courteous, what more do you want? They knew what they were doing, laid cardboard to protect the floors of our new home and wrapped up any items that needed a little extra protection. At one point they handed me one of my watches that had fallen out of a drawer that wasn't properly secured. This was an expensive watch I had bought in Switzerland on a visit there a few years back. After that I knew I didn't need to worry about any of my valuables going "missing." Great company. Good rating with the BBB and the final price I was charged had no surprises on it. I had previously left a poor review due to some delivery issues. We did have some problems scheduling a time that worked for me and I waited a bit long to get my product but...Wow! The guys that set up my stove were so nice! They took care of everything super fast and were just genuinely nice people. My stove is beautiful and the technician made sure I happy. Thanks guys!

After finding out that we would be relocating across the country within a very short time frame, I was put in contact with Bailey's. Jana has been my point of contact and has aided us through the entire process. She helped look at and price various move options and guided us ever since. She is ALWAYS there to help, ALWAYS quick to respond, ALWAYS patient, and ALWAYS follows-up. She has put us at ease during a VERY stressful time. The walk through was easy. Pam and Cindy were our packers. They were amazing. Careful, diligent, and kind. We had a full team of movers come and load the entire house in one day. Amazing. THANK YOU! Looking forward to phase 2 of the move!

Chris and the guys at Bailey's did an AMAZING job for our office move. I have zero complaints. The team was on-time, early actually, professional, helpful, quick and careful. They went above and beyond and helped me work around various delivery problems that were caused by another party. They will get the work done faster than you think and will go out of their way to ensure you're happy.

Moving is a traumatic experience. From the start, the salesman, estimator, scheduler, the moving crew chief and crew from Baileys was fantastic. I went through 2 moves simultaneously using 2 Allied agents...Baileys Moving and Storage and Beverly Hills Transfer and Storage. The movers (both loading and unloading) were fantastic. They were professional and treated our possession with great care. The packing process with Baileys was slow (9 hrs) and mediocre. Very little paper padding was used to cushion the boxes both top and bottom. It paled in comparison to the Beverly Hills agent. Our moving coordinator for Baileys basically kept her chair warm. I had to initiate almost all communication. The Beverly Hills agent was on top of everything and and kept me constantly updated on each step of the move. There was a big difference in the 2 agents. I would have to think twice before using Baileys again.

Our employer contracted Bailey's to manage our move in another state. They contracted a sister company (under Allied). While Bailey's was quick to communicate and arrange things, after the move everything went sour. The movers did over $1,000 of damage to our items and stole a $300 air conditioning unit. I filed a claim with Bailey's and they tried to tell me that even though my employer had paid them to buy insurance, their sister company hadn't billed them for it, so they couldn't work retroactively. I had to get my HR representative involved, and in the end Bailey's only reimbursed half of our losses. To be fair, from my interactions with the local Bailey's employees, I expect my experience would be fine working directly with them. However, their corporate claims workers Judy and Carla were unprofessional, dismissive, and didn't return my phone calls. I have moved my family seven times and never had any problems. For my first time letting "professional" movers move me, I am entirely disappointed.

Baileys moved our family from Lake Point Utah to Malta, Idaho. It was a great experience. They were friendly and kind in every respect. Tim was our Driver and go to guy. Wow! So good to work with and willing to go the extra mile to make us happy. Good Job Baileys!!!!

Bailey's packed us and moved us from North Salt Lake to Cedar City, Utah. They were completely professional and on time right from the start. The packing and shipping crews were terrific and extremely helpful. We arranged for an earlier delivery and our shipper delivered! The shipment was completely intact and moved into our new house without incident. I can't say enough about how good these guys are!

Bailey's has moved us from California to Idaho, from Idaho to Mexico and from Idaho to Utah. With each move they have been professional, careful and dependable. In particular, our recent move from Idaho to Utah was flawless. The crew was amazing, especially the driver and team leader, Armando. I could not have been more pleased.

We have used Bailey's twice for state to state relocations in the last five years. The moves have been coordinated and executed flawlessly.The whole moving service was reduced the stress we experienced in transitioning. We felt comfortable with those contracted to pack as well as the movers. The damage rate was very low and the claims process easy.
