Jonathan Cordova in Colorado Springs did make everything perfect from the beginning to end from Colorado Springs to Southern California. The local packers did a great job in CSand the driver and his colleague drove from there to here to deliver everything without any damages... Allied Van Line is the A-One company and thank you a zillion! Julianna
This was by far the worst moving experience I have ever had I'm sad to say . I moved from Colorado to south central Pa . and this was a debacle from the minute the packers showed up . One of the packers leaned a pack of heavy boxes against a cabinet where upon they slid down and tore a baseboard door off its hinge . Fortunately , the claims dept. was quick to send a furniture tech to repair the door since settlement was in a few days . This company sent only 2 packers to pack up a 2400 square foot home . They didn't finish until after 8 pm . Everyone was cranky by that time ( including me ) . I could tell when I unpacked my items how late in the day these were packed because of the haphazard way I found these items in the boxes . I had to store my household goods with this company for 5 weeks until settlement of a house I purchased . I called the coordinator a month before settlement of my new home and was sure to mention that a shuttle was necessary due to my narrow uphill driveway . When I got a call from the coordinator a few weeks later letting me know when delivery would occur , I again reminded her about the shuttle . She assured me it was noted . The day of delivery , I was up very early since the driver was going to show up at 7am . That time came and went as did 8am , 9am , 10am . No truck . I called the coordinator who then said she would contact the driver to find out what happened . He apparently had my shipment confused with someone else and delivery would now be 4 days later . So 4 days later as I'm up early again for a 7am delivery , what did I see showing up on my narrow winding country road , a huge transport van ! I walked down my driveway shaking my head and asking the crew what happened to the shuttle that was necessary to deliver my goods to my house . They did not get the message . This particular driver , nice as he is , does not have the best fluency of the English language which could be part of the problem . The crew then had to delicately back up the transport van and rent a U-haul to bring my goods to me , 3 round trips . This whole procedure took until after 11pm that night . But that's not the worst part ! A substantial number of items were missing , enough furniture pieces and boxes to fill a room !! Needless to say , by this time I am furious . Somebody dropped the ball big time with this move . I don't know who and I don't really care . On top of that , the top part of my antique hotel commode ( dresser ) was broken in several pieces . It took this company over a week to find my missing items and then another 3 weeks before delivery of the missing items . I got a call from a driver letting me know when the rest of my goods would be delivered in a few days . Something told me that this driver probably was not informed of a need for a shuttle either so I thought I would call him just in case he did not get the word . Well , guess what , he didn't ! I would of thought that the company would have expedited the delivery but no , it was at their convenience , not mine . As long as they had my money ( cashiers check only , before the crew even starts to unload ) of over $16,000 , they didn't seem to care . I was the one that always had to initiate phone calls to the company to find out what was going on even though I repeatedly asked the coordinator to keep me informed , if only to say that they haven't forgotten me , they are still working on my shipment . Didn't happen. I filed a claim regarding the broken furniture a few weeks ago , Haven't heard anything so who knows when it will be repaired . I feel that compensation is due me do to this incompetent move by so called professionals .
I purchased an appliance through Home Depot and Bailey's was contracted to deliver the washing machine. The delivery person was rude, dismissive, and did not complete the job as arranged until I told him I would not sign a the paperwork until it was fixed. I also had to call Home Depot and get an expediter involved to call his office to tell him to complete the job. After completing the job, the delivery person was walking away from me as I was asking them questions. I was told by Home Depot that they have stopped contracting with Bailey's and I now understand why.
Company ran on schedule and had plenty of packers. Packers were very good.
Could not have had a worse experience. First crew they sent to move our things was drunk and had to be removed from the job. Of course they managed to break my couch first. When they delivered my belongings they broke my desk. I understand it happens but here I am over two months later and it still isn't repaired. Communication has been horrible and rude. I purchased the insurance to cover damage and repair to replacement value. Not even allowed to move items until they inspect so have a broken couch in my living room and a broken desk in my office. The negative reviews here are correct and I should have heeded their warnings.
We engaged Bailey's moving and storage for two house moves within Colorado, and then again for a furniture clearing... getting rid of big pieces we couldn't do on our own. Every time the movers were professional, courteous, prompt, and efficient. I HIGHLY recommend them to my friends.
They were on time and they hustled! We've never considered using a moving company and it was money well spent! The actual labor cost came in under the estimate. Couldn't be happier with the service we received.
Horrible experience, they moved my parents stuff and everything was destroyed, it was all in horrible condition. Don't use them!
Terrible ! Terrible! Terrible! Destroyed our furniture, delivery driver carried a marker in his pocket tried touching everything up. Their insurance refused to pay saying it was like that before and we tried to hide it. Delivery driver told me that Allied would charge his personal insurance and not the companies unless I wrote on the invoice that he took good care of my things. Thus the damage happened loading or unloading prior to him. (They stored everything for about a month). I didn't witness him do any damage so I wrote on the invoice, thinking Allieds insurance should be the one to pay for damages. Doing so was another reason they refused to pay. Note to Allied: I don't need your insurance money. I only filed the claim because your guys destroyed my things and tried to cover it up. Things happen, people are human but you lied and deceived me. Now I am bitter. My family members who witnessed this mess have already offered to write a review. I am hoping this costs you more than doing the right thing would have
Movers were on time, worked hard, took great care of our possessions, were polite and courteous, what more do you want? They knew what they were doing, laid cardboard to protect the floors of our new home and wrapped up any items that needed a little extra protection. At one point they handed me one of my watches that had fallen out of a drawer that wasn't properly secured. This was an expensive watch I had bought in Switzerland on a visit there a few years back. After that I knew I didn't need to worry about any of my valuables going "missing." Great company. Good rating with the BBB and the final price I was charged had no surprises on it. Juan and Mohammed were AMAZING. Thank you Baileys!
Nice people. Thank you so much so your excellent cusyomer service. Stayed open a little pass closing so we could weigh our moving truck that was due that day.
This company kept me informed at all stages of my delivery as I had my belongings shipping from Israel. They made sure the delivery time was convenient for me and my things were well taken care of. I would recommend Bailey's Moving and Storage for your moving needs.
