I had a bad experience with Bayley's. This is the first time I used a full-service moving company (I used U-Pack) prior to this, and I expected so much more for the price they charge. The main issues I encountered were (1) communication was hard throughout the process, and I had to call+email multiple times to get information; (2) the delivery dates were not met after calling multiple times, which resulted in extra costs on our part in terms of hotel, etc.; (3) the pricing was not clear at the beginning and we incurred in additional, unanticipated charges which increased the final price by around 20%; and (4) some stuff was lost in the move, including a treadmill (!) and a Kitchen Aid mixer. I hope not to move in the near future, but if I had to, I would NOT use this company. A very disappointing experience.
We had a great experience with Bailey’s. From a piano to taxidermy they came, packaged everything up, and loaded it into a truck over a two-day period. Probably ~10 hours total. They were careful with our belongings and very thorough. Mila, Lihai, and one other mover (sorry, didn’t catch your name buddy) were gentle giants with all of our stuff. 10/10 would recommend. Bailey’s did a great job communicating throughout the process as well.
Very thorough and quick pick up. Excellent in working with me to set up long term storage.
All employees were extremely courteous and helpful in all phases of the move. The gentlemen who moved all of my property were very professional and attentive to my needs and answered all of my questions very respectfully.
Wonderful moving company! The team worked so hard and had such a great attitude! Thank you Bailey’s for making our move such a positive experience! And at a great price too!
I had a very professional experience with Baileys from start to finish. Juan was a hard worker and made sure everything went smoothly!
Very quick and professional. They packed everything so well! They were very considerate and even let our son nap in one room while they packed up the others!
Recently moved and needed to store our furniture for a couple of days between selling our old house and moving into the new house. Everything from the quote to pickup and delivery went very smoothly. Brian came out and gave us an estimate (which was very similar to the estimate we had gotten online when we checked ourselves). The movers were on-time (early even) for both pickup and delivery and very professional. They covered all of our floors so they wouldn't leave boot prints and there isn't a scratch on any of our walls. They were also very flexible when we had to change the delivery time. We still have a bit to unpack, but we've gotten through all of the fragile items and everything is in one piece. We'd definitely recommend Bailey's Moving and Storage services.
Bailey's did an amazing job with our move. I've moved every year for the past 7 years, and this is the most efficient, least stressful move I've ever experienced. We will absolutely use them again!
They did a great job! I had a lot of breakables and they packed all of it up nicely.
I read the other reviews and noticed that they are selected by a filtering process. Low ranking ratings are ignored to avoid dealing with problems that are caused. It becomes obvious simply by looking at their main page, it only accepts feedback from people with an account, so that they can revoke that account instead actually dealing with complaints. A similar form of asinine behavior existed when I had the misfortune of dealing with them a few years ago. I noticed that they mix naïve people with the convicts and/or people on probation. I also noticed a disinterest in hiring people with street smarts and that encourages continued irresponsible behavior. I no longer have reason to trust this place with my stuff and don’t trust or have reason to waste my time with the people running it. They aren’t mature enough to deal with conflicts on even a juvenile level of competence. I will make sure that I never flatter them with my business or my presence in the future!
Overall move went well for me and my partner. Moving Representative Adriane, did a great job handling move thoughout the entire process. AAA++++
I just received the worst form of lack of professional decorum from their " Manager'. I was only trying to figure out a few urgent matters. 1st was a question about appliance, that I had personally handed their delivery man ( new guy not our normal friendly gentleman), just a hour ago which wasn't delivered and nothing communicated with us as to why when get his ID. Which what was a different story. Also that this isn't the first time they have failed to communicate. This is a problem with only one of their delivery guys- I believe his name is Josh. Someone needs to give that guy a raise. The 2nd issue was we had a damaged appliance that they took back with them as there as damage. This has happened prior which isn't the end of the world. However, when asked if it was returned they stated that we didn't do something. I asked how that was possible as ( I interested an example last month) and we didn't have to complete anything. I also explained that we have been working together for almost a year now. I was rudely met with "If you would shut up and that she worked there for 6 plus years soooo".. I informed her that I would like to speak with the person above her. She was rude and informed me that she was it. I ended the conversation as I am not only the costumer but I am also person just requesting assistance and should be treated with proper etiquette. I tried to contact their Corporate office yet the lines are busy. I have emailed our GE Reps as well as their Corporate office. Normally, I do not review on google but I want the Corporate office to see where a mass improvement can be made. I am hoping that I received the bad end of someone having a tough day. If so I do hope it turns around for her but currently I feel disrespected as a person as well as 1 professional to another. Ending note: Manners Matter!
