Crew was great and friendly

We had a great experience! Bailey’s Moving and Storage came to our rescue when the company that was supposed to move us had issues with their truck and could not get us moved to Idaho in the expected timeframe. This was a problem because our buyers were taking possession of the house the very next day. The team that loaded us was courteous and professional, the driver was amazing and the team that unloaded us in Idaho was stellar. Special Thanks to… Corey Oliver – organized and coordinated the whole move and he was sympathetic to our situation. Katherine Brown – was our contact and regularly checked on the progress of the move and our satisfaction. Armando Carrillo – The best truck driver and team boss ever (protected and moved our baby grand piano) and kept the teams humming along. Trevor Peterson – with Five Star Moving Specialists, he and his team were very professional and efficient with unloading the truck and staging our belonging in our new house. E and B Keller

Kai, Jose, and Noel were such a huge help! The team was timely, communicative, and great to work with. We had several moving pieces to our office relocation, the guys were all very understanding and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend for future moves!

Both teams (packing & moving) did an amazing job! They were all super polite & very careful with our belongings. We had a tough move out of our building because of broken elevators & additional movers that showed up unexpectedly to move other residents, & they handled it professionally. This is our third move with Baileys, & will always use them in the future.

Bailey’s was the only company that submitted a complete and timely estimate for the move. Understood exactly what we wanted and how we wanted to make the move happen. Move was from Loveland, CO from a storage unit to Bellingham, WA to an apartment.

I used Bailey's to move from Denver to Oregon. The movers were fine, but their communication and customer service was terrible. Before the move, I tried to get tried to get in touch with my sales coordinate and moving coordinator to make a small permitted change to the scope. I never got a response after more than 10 calls and emails so the move went on without the change. After the move, I had filed a claim for damage on a few items. Their review of the claim was dismissive, bordering on fraudulent. Their policy is clearly to ignore/not address/avoid all claims. Some examples: 1) Shattered glass (packed by them): we weren't able to inspect the damage (because I didn't save the shards though I took a picture) 2) Crushed and shattered storage bin: that happens from the heat in the truck 3) Broken cross-strut on a dresser: the damage was internal not external 4) Damage to the surface of leather chairs: we don't see this as transit damage Huh?!?! I would use another moving service that communicates and stands behind their work. If you do use them, get the highest deductible because they won't pay out anything anyway.

I don’t usually do reviews, but I’d like to extend my thanks and compliments to Morgan and his team. I am a large rigging company that installs airport security equipment. We had an amazing experience with Bailys and everything went flawlessly. We worked with them for over a period of eight weeks on a job that had lots of moving parts and Logistics. Baileys was there every step of the way, giving us access to whatever we needed and supporting our deployment. We work with different companies all over the country and we gotta give Bailys a huge thumbs up and thank them once again for helping us to be so successful with this job.

Bailey’s Moving Company did an amazing job with our recent move from Denver to San Diego! The entire process was incredibly professional from start to finish. Ryan was great at coordinating all the details and keeping everything organized, and Josh was extremely helpful throughout the move.The whole team—from the office staff to the drivers and the movers—worked seamlessly to make what could have been a stressful cross-state move completely smooth and successful. I was referred to Bailey's Moving & Storage by one of my co-workers. I'm glad I used them for our moving and storage. From the initial call to the day of the move everyone was very professional and easy to coordinate with. On the day of the move the crew was AWESOME! They took care of our furniture like it was their own from the breakdown to the wrapping! We couldn't be happier. We will definitely be recommending Bailey’s to anyone that we hear needs a reputable moving company. Corey was a pleasure to work with. He showed up on schedule and coordinated the move without a hitch.

Bailey’s has helped us 2-3 times with moves and we wouldn’t consider anyone else to help us. They are careful, efficient, and friendly.

Lost and damaged items I'm not sure how this company can be considered professional based on my experience, especially considering the cost. During pickup, furniture was not wrapped in blankets  before being removed and loaded onto the truck. This resulted in damage and scratches on many items. The movers were rushed and disorginized. One box was never inventoried during pickup and therefore was lost. It contained a significant item, not of value, just of importance. Gone. In addition to that, a couple of other unboxed items were lost. These were large items, not easily misplaced. Those items may now belong to someone else, as when they made my delivery, they included items that did NOT belong to me. Ridiculous. Boxes not considered heavy-duty will be damaged. Guaranteed. There's little care given to anything. Delivery was delayed 2 days; I was never given a reason. And being a big tipper, as I was to all the movers, does not make a difference. I wish I could get my money back. I'm surprised by all this because we've always had good luck with Allied (Bailey's is an Allied affiliate), and I've used them a few times recently. If this is how Allied runs their affiliate program, it's disappointing, and I will unfortunately choose a different moving company next time.

Do not hire Baileys Moving & Storage / Allied Van Lines (Denver). This was, without exaggeration, the worst service experience of my life — and it cost us thousands of dollars, a week of our lives, and irreplaceable furniture. Here is exactly what happened, with dates, because everyone considering this company deserves the full record: The pickup (May 28): Baileys had no driver, so they sent two movers to pack out our 2-bedroom apartment. A job they quoted at 2-3 hours took 11 hours. The crew showed up without basic tools. When I had tools delivered to them mid-job, one of the movers asked me — the customer — how to disassemble my own bed. They never disassembled our queen bed or our mid-century buffet before moving them. Both were destroyed as a direct result: the bed frame is cracked, the headboard is disfigured, and the fabric is torn. The buffet is chipped, has a long scratch across the front, and now has wobbly legs. The no-show delivery (June 9): Our contractual delivery window was June 3-10. At pickup, we were explicitly told our things would arrive June 9. We built our entire cross-country drive and work schedules around that date. I called our "moving coordinator," Barb, four separate times in the days before to confirm delivery. Barb never returned a single call. On June 8 — the day before delivery — I called Baileys' main switchboard myself and was told, for the first time, that our shipment had never even been picked up from Denver and no driver had ever been assigned. Left stranded: My wife and I had both taken the day off work to receive our belongings. Instead, we were stuck in Brooklyn with our dog, an air mattress, and one suitcase of clothes — no kitchen items, no basic necessities. Baileys offered zero proactive updates; every piece of information came from us calling them. Their solution when we asked about the cost of hotels was a $100/day reimbursement offer — which doesn't come close to covering a hotel that accepts two adults and a dog in NYC, let alone the cost of not being able to cook a single meal in our own home. The delivery, finally (June 16): Our shipment arrived 7 full nights later than promised. Baileys' own dispatch never called to tell us it was coming — we found out from the driver directly, the day of. No one called to confirm the delivery went smoothly. No one from Baileys has called, before or since, to apologize for any of this. The damage: Our Article queen bed (frame cracked, headboard disfigured, fabric torn) and our mid-century buffet (chipped, deep scratch across the front, legs now wobbly) were both damaged specifically because the crew never properly disassembled or protected them — despite this being a standard, basic part of any professional move. We lost time off, endured 7 extra nights on an air mattress with none of our things, no ability to cook, and irreplaceable furniture — all because Baileys couldn't manage to keep a driver on schedule, communicate honestly, or send a crew that knew how to do the job. If you are considering Baileys Moving & Storage in Denver for a move, especially a long-distance one, look elsewhere. I would not wish this experience on anyone.

The initial quote was significantly lower than what I ultimately paid, and it felt like the goal was to secure the booking before the price increased during packing and delivery. While the moving crew was friendly and professional, the amount of packing paper used was excessive—small items were wrapped in multiple sheets, and since the final cost was based on shipment size, it felt like unnecessary packing drove up the price. I also had to make two trips to the dump just to dispose of all the paper from a one-bedroom apartment and home office. Communication after booking was equally disappointing; my move coordinator was difficult to reach and typically responded with brief, unhelpful replies. Overall, the experience was far more expensive and stressful than expected, and I would not recommend this company for an interstate move.

Bailey’s Moving and Storage in Denver, Co., handled our international move from Denver, Co., to Kelowna, BC, Canada, with efficiency, speed and professionalism. The team from our sales rep, to the admin staff, to the crew in both countries, had excellent customer service. The crew were well organized, respectful, and treated our goods with care. Highly recommend!

I had to move from Lafayette CO to Charleston SC. I appreciated the competitive price and the ability to answer all the questions I had prior to my moving. Also, the moving of my car was completely taken care of at the same time. The schedule for delivery was convenient for me and was followed above and beyond. Ryan was patiently answering all my questions and concerns.

They took the time to make sure everything was accounted for, put in the right place, and undamaged. They took special care to make certain no part of our home was damaged while moving in all of our household goods.
